Police: Motorcyclist Killed In DWI Crash On Long Island

EAST FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island motorcyclist was killed in a DWI crash with another vehicle late Saturday night, authorities say.

According to police, Tomasz Myszke, 39, was fatally struck by a 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck while riding his 2003 Suzuki motorcycle down Wellwood Avenue in East Farmingdale at around 11:15 p.m.

Driver Edward Okon, 49, of Melville, was arrested at the scene, police said.

Okon is now being held in Central Islip on charges of Driving While Intoxicated, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
