Mother, Son Badly Injured After Car Slams Into Utility Poles In Sparta

SPARTA, N.J.(CBSNewYork) -- A major car accident in northern New Jersey left a woman and her son badly injured.

The 26-year-old woman lost control of her car and crashed into several utility poles on Friday night, police said.

The mother and son were airlifted to a nearby hospital. Both had been wearing seat belts.

The accident remains under investigation.
