Long Island Mother Sought In Alleged Abduction Of 5-Year-Old Son

STONY BROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County Police are looking for a Long Island mother accused of abducting her 5-year-old son.

Kristin Kapp was ordered to turn over her son, Sebastian Parsons-Kapp, to CPS, but Knapp allegedly ignored the order, police say.

A Family Court Warrant for Child Neglect was issued on April 27.

The child's father, who previously had an order of protection that prohibited contact with the child, reported Sebastian missing on June 9.

Kapp and her son, who were living in Stony Brook, are believed to be in New York, possibly in New York City.

Anyone with information about this incident or where the pair is located is asked to contact 911 or Sixth Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.
