More Freezing Rain Could Mean More Slippery Roads Saturday
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Tri-State Area residents may wake up to another morning of dangerously slippery road conditions on Saturday.
The National Weather Service issued a freezing rain advisory for parts of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut from 10 p.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Saturday.
There is also a flood watch in effect for the Tri-State Area, as well as a wind advisory through Saturday night.

Forecasters said there is a low pressure system moving from the Midwest into eastern Canada that will drag a cold front through the region. The system will tap into Gulf and Atlantic moisture to produce heavy rainfall Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, the National Weather Service said.
Rainfall amounts are expected to be between 1 1/2 to 2 inches, with locally higher amounts of up to 2 1/2 inches possible, according to the National Weather Service.
Officials are urging residents in flood-prone areas to remain vigilant.
