Monmouth County Home Destroyed In Early Morning Fire

MORGANVILLE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A home was destroyed Wednesday after an early morning fire on Monmouth County.

The fire broke out just after 2 a.m. at a home in Morganville. It took several hours to finally place it under control. Police said the blaze was fed by natural gas.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries. The residents inside the home were not hurt.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
