Woman, Two Young Children Reported Missing In Queens, Police Say

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a Queens woman and two young children reported missing on Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Rosa Tapia, 51, Anthony Tapia, 6, and Aaron Ledesma, 3, were last seen on 161st Street and Jamaica Avenue in the Jamaica section of Queens at around 9 a.m., police said.

The NYPD describes Tapia as 5'3" tall and weighing 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink wool hat, a blue sweatshirt and jeans.

Police say Anthony Tapia was last seen wearing a blue coat, and Aaron was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt.

Authorities told CBS2 that Tapia has custody of Anthony, but does not have custody of Aaron, who is her grandson.
