Police: Easton, Conn. Couple Has Not Been Seen In A Week

EASTON, Conn. (CBSNewYork) -- A search was under way Tuesday night for a missing couple from Easton, Connecticut.

Jeffrey Navin, 56, and his wife, Jeannette, 55, were last seen a week ago Tuesday in Easton, CBS2 reported.

The couple moved into a rental home on Staples Road in Easton a month ago, and disappeared Tuesday, Aug.4, officials said.

Their car was found on Sunday in a park-and-ride lot off Exit 42 of the Merritt Parkway in Westport.

Jeannette works as a paraprofessional at the library for the Weston Intermediate School, according to a Facebook notice from Weston police.

The couple had lived in Weston before moving recently, the police notice said.
