Missing Long Island Teen With Autism Found Safe

BALDWIN, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A Long Island teenager with autism who went missing Tuesday afternoon has been found safe.

Just after 12 a.m. Thursday, Nassau County Police reported 17-year-old Isaiah Farrow was located and was in good health.

Farrow had been missing since around 4 p.m. Tuesday. His family was frantic because Farrow has autism, is non-verbal and needed his medication.

Nassau detectives, special operations and patrol officers assisted in the search for Farrow on Wednesday as a police helicopter flew overhead.

Details on where he was found were not immediately available.
