Military Flyover Planned For Early Wednesday Morning Over The Bronx, Westchester

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The U.S. Air Force will be holding an exercise in the early morning hours to get ready for the Super Bowl flyover.

The Air Force will be conducting a flyover over the Hudson River in the Bronx and southern Westchester at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in preparation for Sunday's big game.

Two F-16s, a Citation 550 aircraft and a UH-60 helicopter will take part in the exercise.

The aircraft will not be able to be seen from the ground, but those living in the area may hear the exercise.

The flyover will be conducted about 5,000 to 7,000 feet up. and is expected to last for about an hour.

After the exercise, the aircraft will land at Long Island's Farmingdale Airport.
