Sure, the San Francisco Giants have it good now, having won three of the past six World Series. But 13 years ago, the franchise was still looking for its first title since leaving New York in 1957.
They were twice victimized in the playoffs by the eventual world champion Marlins, a team that has only been in existence since 1993.
In this classic clip from 2003, lifelong Giants fan Chris "Mad Dog" Russo rants to Mike Francesa about the Marlins' NLDS win over San Francisco.
Don't forget, Mike and the Mad Dog are teaming up for a one-night reunion on March 30 at Radio City Music Hall. The event is sold out but will be simulcast on WFAN, MSG Plus and Sirius XM. Francesa will also give out tickets on his show in the days leading up to the event.
