Francesa: 'Nothing's Close' To The Masters

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mike Francesa is pumped for the Masters.

"To me, nothing's close. U.S. Open, I like it. British Open, ehhh. PGA, it's alright. Nothing, nothing is the Masters," Francesa said.

He continued, "Nothing in golf, I think, is close in having the theater, in having the course be such a dramatic background to the tournament. It's the rare time where the audience not only gets to watch this beautiful, perfect golf theater, but also knows the holes so well because you watch it year-after-year. You understand it."

The Masters tees off Thursday.

Francesa also talks about the classic 1986 Masters Jack Nicklaus won. Listen to the entire show open below.
