NYPD: Man Wanted In Midtown Bank Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man who they said robbed a bank in Midtown.

It happened just before 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Valley National Bank on Sixth Avenue between 39th and 40th streets.

The suspect handed the teller a note demanding money, police said.

The teller complied, and the suspect ran off with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The NYPD has released a surveillance image of the suspect.
