Early Morning Slashing At Midtown Drugstore
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating an early morning slashing at a Midtown drugstore.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday following an argument at a Duane Reade store on 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue.
Police said one person was taken to Bellvue Hospital with a slash wound to the neck in stable condition.
Authorities are looking for two men who may have been involved, CBS2 reported. They fled northbound on Eighth Avenue.
Police are also reviewing surveillance footage from the drug store and other cameras, 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
