Mets superstar David Wright isn't a finalist at third base. The Rockies' Nolan Arenado, the Giants' Pablo Sandoval and the Dodgers' Juan Uribe are up for the award.
Wright won Gold Glove Awards in 2007 and 2008.
If Lagares wins the individual award he'll likely be joined by Jacob deGrom, who is expected to be named the National League Rookie of the Year.
Coincidentally, deGrom's main competition is Gold Glove Award finalist Hamilton.
