Mets Fan Gets Tattoo To Commemorate Bartolo Colon's Home Run
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Mets fan who said before the season that he'd get a commemorative tattoo if Bartolo Colon ever hit a home run has followed through on his promise.
According to the fan group The 7 Line Army, Matt Sassi made the vow to a friend while at McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon, a popular Flushing hangout for Mets fans.

The 42-year-old Colon hit a home run Saturday in San Diego, becoming the oldest player in major league history to hit his first career homer.
Coincidentally, Sassi, a Middletown, New York, native who now lives in San Diego, and his friend, along with other members of The 7 Line Army, were at Petco Park to witness the improbable event.
Sassi's tattoo features the Mets pitcher wearing a batting helmet that is cocked to the side. Above the image, it reads in script "the 7 Line Army," and below it says "1st HR, 5•7•2016."
In 228 career at-bats, Colon has a .092 batting average.
His home run was made into a Topps Now baseball card, which was available for online purchase for 24 hours. It sold a record 8,826 copies.
