Nassau Authorities Searching For 2 Suspects In Massapequa Bank Robbery

MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are on the hunt for a couple who robbed a bank in Nassau County.

Police released surveillance images of the suspects on Saturday.

Authorities said around 3:30 p.m. Friday the pair entered a Bethpage Federal Credit Union on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa and passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of money, investigators said they took off.

Police said there were nine employees and two customers inside the bank at the time. No one was injured in the incident.
