NYPD: $13,000 In Designer Goods, Electronics, Stolen In Burglary Spree

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole thousands of dollars in designer goods and electronics in a string of Bronx burglaries.

According to police, suspect Mark Wiggins, 26, of the Bronx, allegedly burglarized five different homes in the Morrisania section of the Bronx between March 18 and March 29.

Wiggins allegedly made another attempt to break into a home on 162nd Street on Monday, but was unsuccessful, police said.

According to police, the suspect stole more than $13,000 in goods from the five locations, including iPads, televisions, Swiss watches and other designer jewelry and clothing.

Wiggins is described as 6'2" and weighing 195 pounds, according to police. A surveillance image of the suspect can be viewed above.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the incidents to call Crime Stoppers at (800)-577-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
