Living Large: Marc Anthony And J-Lo's Former LI Home On Market For $9M

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- The Long Island home that celebrity couple Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez shared throughout their 10 years of marriage is now on the market for $9 million.

The historic home, which now belongs to Anthony, sits on an eight-acre property in Brookville, and was built in 1941.

CBS2's Emily Smith toured the home, with the help of Luis Ortiz, of Douglas Elliman real estate.

"They had their babies here, you can find that out," Ortiz said. "A lot of paparazzis were trying to take pictures of them at the time."

The kitchen has a wide butler's pantry, marble counters and a stove that costs $95,000 -- a custom-made piece.

The super star couple originally had their sunroom set up as a place to dine year-round.

Most every room has an original 1940s wood-burning fire place - including the dining room.

Upstairs is find the master suite, with a unique spa bathroom that's outfitted with a fire place and soaking tub.

On the lower level, there's a $2 million double-recording studio, protected by a bulletproof door, and a movie theater.

There's also a pool and pool house designed after the boat house in Central Park.

You're getting a piece of Marc Anthony's history and you're getting just a beautiful place," Ortiz said.
