Man's Body Pulled From Water Near Governors Island
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man's body was pulled from the water near Governors Island Friday morning.
Around 5:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the area near Governors Island for a report of a man in the water.
The NYPD Harbor Unit found the man unconscious and unresponsive in the water, police said.
The New York City Medical Examiner's office will determine the cause of the man's death.
The investigation was ongoing Friday night.
