Manning: 'I Got To Be Better'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It was a rough night for the New York Giants on Sunday as they are now in the basement of the NFC East following their 23-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Eli Manning told WFAN's Mike Francesa on Monday that they didn't make the plays they needed to capitalize on the Packers.

"No, it wasn't great. We just didn't make enough plays. I thought we had a good idea of how they were going to play us, and what kind of defense and that's what they did," Manning said. "We had some good calls for it, we just didn't execute well enough, and couldn't hit the plays that we needed to get them out of it."

Manning said the Packers' front four were able to pressure him.

"They did a good job of getting some pressure and getting me off my platform. They made it tough. If you can bring four guys and get pressure, and make quarterbacks move around, it's always a good game plan," said Manning, who was sacked three times.

Manning added, "I got to be better."
