Correction Officer, Firefighter Taken To Hospital After Fire At Manhattan Detention Complex

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Investigators are trying to figure out the cause of a fire at the Manhattan Detention Complex in Lower Manhattan.

Officials say the fire started on the ninth floor of the building around 8:30 p.m. Friday.

A correction officer and a firefighter were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The fire was brought under control around 9:30 p.m.
