Man, Woman Found Shot Dead In Flushing, Queens In Suspected Murder-Suicide

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A man and woman were found dead with gunshot wounds in a suspected murder-suicide Friday in Flushing, Queens.

Police responded around 2:51 p.m. Friday to 147-24 Beech Ave. in Queens, and found the bodies of the 42-year-old man and the 41-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to their heads on the third floor, police said.

The woman was identified as Song Shim. The man's identity was not released late Friday pending family notification.

Police said it appeared that the man shot Shim and then took his own life.
