Man Wanted In Alleged L Train Assault
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help tracking down a man who allegedly assaulted a woman on the L train last month.
According to police, the suspect and a 54-year-old woman began arguing on the train on July 26. When the train was stopped at the Lorimer Street station in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the man followed the woman into a different car, rammed her head against a metal pole and threw her to the floor, police said. The suspect then fled.
The woman suffered a bruise to her arm and swelling to her head, police said.
Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect. He is described as Hispanic, approximately 30 years old and having a light complexion.
