Man Thrown From Motorcycle, Killed On Williamsburg Bridge

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An East Village man is dead, after being struck and killed while on his motorcycle on the Williamsburg Bridge.

Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, police found Arben Hoti, 31, lying unconscious and unresponsive on the bridge with trauma to his body. Hoti was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hoti had been heading west on the Williamsburg Bridge in the outer lane, when he fell from his motorcycle and landed in the roadway, police said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, police said.

The investigation continued Thursday night.
