Man Struck, Injured By NJ TRANSIT Bus In Cranford, N.J.

CRANFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A man was struck and injured by an NJ TRANSIT bus Tuesday evening in Cranford, New Jersey.

The bus struck the man, of an unknown age, near High Street and South Avenue in Cranford around 7:35 p.m., NJ TRANSIT told CBS2.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, but he did suffer some head injuries and was transported to University Hospital in Newark, NJ TRANSIT said.

Six people and a driver were on the bus, on the No. 59 bus line, NJ TRANSIT said.

The passengers were moved to another bus.
