Police: Pedestrian Dies After Being Struck By Three Cars In Woodbury

WOODBURY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A 39-year-old man died after he was struck by three cars on Long Island.

The victim was hit just before 8 p.m. Thursday while crossing Woodbury Road in Woodbury.

He was first struck by a 2013 Mercedes Benz in the northbound lanes, police said. The impact of the crash sent the man into the southbound lanes where he was hit by a van and another vehicle, police said.

All drivers remained at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
