Man Stabbed, Critically Injured In Upper West Side Apartment

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was in critical condition Saturday morning, after being stabbed in the head and neck in an Upper West Side building.

A suspect in the attack was in police custody.

The stabbing happened in the early morning hours Saturday inside a building at 319 W. 94th St., police said.

The victim was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition, police said.

Officers apprehended a man in his 40s, who may be the victim's roommate or tenant, police said.

No charges had been announced as of mid-morning Saturday.
