Police Looking Man In Connection To Bryant Park Homicide

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The New York City Police Department is looking for a man in connection to a homicide that occurred near Bryant Park early Saturday.

Police responded to the corner of West 40th Street and 6th Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday for reports of a male shot.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the torso.

Medics arrived and pronounced the male dead at the scene.

The victim was identified as 27-year-old Terrance Walker.

Police describe the man they're looking for as black, approximately 6 feet tall, and 20 to 30 years-old.

He was last seen with a goatee wearing a heavy black coat, a black cap, black pants, and black shoes.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
