Man In Critical Condition Following Fire In Hamilton Heights
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man is in critical condition after a fire broke out in the basement of a Hamilton Heights pharmacy Saturday morning.
The fire started at around 8:30 a.m. in a building in the 600 Block of West 151st Street, 1010 WINS reported.
The man -- who may have been living in the basement -- was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for smoke inhalation, 1010 WINS reported.
Fire officials are still investigating the cause, but it appears to have been electrical, 1010 WINS' Roger Stern reported.
