Man Found Shot To Death In Car In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was found dead of a gunshot in a car in broad daylight Thursday in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx.

Police were called to 1023 E. 217th St. around 3:20 p.m. Responding officers found the 44-year-old victim behind the wheel of a gray Honda Pilot with a gunshot wound to the torso, police said.

The man was taken to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

He was identified as Paul Dwyer of the Bronx, police said.

As of late Thursday, there were no arrests and the investigation continued.
