Brooklyn Man Accused Of Driving Drunk With Child In Car In Nassau County

NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Brooklyn man is accused of driving drunk in Nassau County with a child in the car early Sunday morning.

Nassau County Police told CBS2 in a statement Terence Murdock, 40, was driving a grey Chrysler when it came to a sudden stop while exiting a Dunkin' Donuts on Burnside Avenue at 1:45 a.m.

A 38-year-old woman then exited the vehicle and removed a girl from the car.

A police officer approached the car to conduct an investigation and observed Murdock to be intoxicated and placed him under arrest.

Murdock has been charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of driving while intoxicated.

He will be arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
