Man dies after Canarsie shooting

NEW YORK -- Police say a 20-year-old man who was shot in Canarsie, Brooklyn, on Monday morning has died.

Officers said the man was shot seven times and died at Brookdale Hospital.

Fire officials said they received a call about the incident on Paerdegat 1st street at around 10:15 a.m.

There is still no word on any arrests, or what may have led to the gunfire.
