Man Charged In Robbery, Sex Assault Of Woman, 61, In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New Haven, Conn., man has been charged in the robbery and sexual assault of a 61-year-old woman in the Bronx late last month.

Moises Granados, 19, of New Haven, was charged with robbery, grand larceny, and a criminal sex act in the April 25 attack, police said Monday evening.

Around 6:30 a.m. that day, the woman was walking into a building at 168th Street and Walton Avenue in the Bronx when the suspect followed her inside and sexually assaulted her, police said.

He also took personal property items from the woman, police said.

Police released a surveillance video of the suspect this past weekend.
