Man Beaten Following Dispute Over Seat On Southbound 4 Train
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A ride on the 4 train turned violent for a man in the Bronx last week.
A 58-year-old man was riding a southbound 4 train as it approached the Mount Eden Avenue stop just before 6 a.m. when the suspect started arguing with him over a seat.
The suspect pushed the victim to the floor and punched him several times in the face, cutting his upper lip.
The suspect remained on the train while the victim exited at the Mount Eden Avenue stop. He refused medical attention at the scene.
The suspect has been described as a black male. He was wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweater, a blue jean jackets, and a black baseball cap. He was carrying a black book bag.
