Man Accused Of Dropping Pants At Long Island Middle School

EAST NORTHPORT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A man has been charged with allegedly pulling his pants down in front of a boy's locker room at a Long Island middle school.

The 45-year-old East Northport man was arrested Thursday after he allegedly dropped his pants in the presence of three East Northport Middle School students who immediately reported the incident to school officials, Suffolk County police said.

He was charged with public lewdness, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The school said "at no time was any child approached by the individual," according to Newsday, which withheld the suspect's name to protect the identities of others present.
