Madonna Surprises NYE Crowd At Stonewall Inn With Special Performance

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Madonna surprised a New Year's Eve crowd in Manhattan with a special performance.

The pop star sang her hit "Like a Prayer," alongside her son David on guitar, at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village.

Last week, Madonna was named a Stonewall Ambassador.

June will mark the 50^th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, which gave rise to the gay rights movement.
