Lyft Offering Free, Discounted Rides To Job Interviews

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Ride-sharing company Lyft is launching a program to give free or discounted rides to people heading to job interviews.
The program is launching in 35 markets across the United States and Canada.
It includes free rides to work for the first three weeks of a new job.
The company says it wants to help address transportation problems that affect employment in low-income communities.
Lyft is partnering with the United Way and other groups to offer the service.
