MINEOLA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Long Island man is accused in a string of shoplifting incidents at drug stores and supermarkets that spanned about six months.

Alexander Wachmyanin, 50, was indicted for targeting CVS, Rite Aid and Key Food stores from January through June, Nassau County prosecutors announced Monday.
