Long Island Animal Advocacy Group Partners With PETA For Billboard Inspired By Runaway Bull

MANORVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- The runaway bull on Long Island has inspired a billboard that could soon go up in Manorville.
The group Long Island Orchestrating for Nature is teaming up with PETA, hoping to install a billboard with the message, "Help others escape the slaughterhouse: go vegan."
The 1,500-pound bull named Barney escaped slaughter on July 20 by breaking through a fence at a farm in Mastic.
Once captured, Barney will be taken to a sanctuary in New Jersey.
