Nassau County Cops Say Colorado Man Made Inappropriate Contact With LI Teen
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police say a Colorado man traveled to Long Island and made inappropriate sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl.
Luke A. Tilsley, 36, of Denver was arrested Friday by Nassau County Police at the Long Island Rail Road station in Merrick.
Police say Tilsley began communicating online with the teenager in October. He traveled twice to Merrick in April and allegedly touched the girl in an inappropriate manner.
When the teenager was seen with Tilsley again on Friday, he was arrested.
Tilsley was arraigned Saturday on forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse charges. He was ordered held on $5,000 bail.
A message left for his attorney Saturday evening wasn't immediately returned.
