Workers Trapped When House Collapses In Ocean County, New Jersey

LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A three-story house under construction collapsed Thursday in New Jersey, trapping two workers inside.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. on Bay Avenue in Long Beach Township in Ocean County.

Police say construction work was being done at the time of the collapse.

Emergency crews rescued the two trapped workers, who were then airlifted to the hospital.

There's no word on the extent of their injuries or what caused the collapse.
