2 People Struck By Lightning In Queens, Church Also Struck

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Lightning strikes during Wednesday evening's storms in New York City turned dangerous.

Two people were struck by lightning in South Ozone Park, Queens.

Both are in the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.

In the same area, lightning also struck a church steeple and sparked a fire.

Nobody was hurt there.
