Light Of Day: Winterfest Returns To Asbury Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It started as a birthday party, but now Light of Day: Winterfest is one of the biggest concerts in Asbury Park.

The event kicked off this weekend and runs through Jan. 18. Not only is it a good time, it's also in the name of a great cause -- helping in the fight against Parkinson's disease and related illnesses such as PSP and ALS.

Musician Garland Jeffreys stopped by the CBS2 studios to talk about this year's music festival.
