LI Teen Accused Of Stabbing Other Teen After Football Game

DIX HILLS, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Long Island teenager is under arrest, accused of stabbing another teen in a parking lot following a high school football game.

The incident took place after Friday's game at Half Hollow Hills High School East in Dix Hills.

Suffolk County police arrested 17-year-old Kamal Williams and charged him with assault and second-degree menacing, Newsday reported.

The victim, only identified as a 19-year-old, was rushed to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said the fight between the two teens was sparked by a prior dispute.

Williams is expected to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
