LI Man Accused Of Driving Drunk, Hitting Grandfather & 2-Year-Old Grandson

BETHPAGE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island man is under arrest after allegedly driving drunk and hitting a grandfather pushing his grandson in a stroller.

Anthony Valenti, of Farmingdale, is charged with DWI, reckless driving and assault, CBS2 reported.

Police said the 56-year-old was making a turn in Bethpage Saturday night when he hit the 69-year-old grandfather and the stroller with a 2-year-old boy inside.

The stroller got stuck under the car and was dragged as Valenti allegedly drove for another block.

CBS2 was told the injuries to the grandfather and baby were minor.
