American Airlines Crew Reports Drone Sighting Near LaGuardia Airport
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a report of a drone sighting near one of New York City's airports.
An American Airlines flight crew reported seeing the drone as their aircraft was approaching LaGuardia Airport Tuesday afternoon.
The flight landed without incident.
