Police: 4 Sought After Attacking, Robbing Teen On L Train Platform

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are searching for four men accused of brutally attacking a teenage subway passenger in Brooklyn.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects jumping off the L train and onto the Sutter Avenue station platform.

18-year-old Doniel Jones says the hits started coming as soon as he got to the station in Brownsville last Wednesday.

"I go down to look at my phone and I just feel someone punch me in the face," the Metro Tech freshman said.

Jones took himself to the hospital, where doctors said they have to wait for his nose to set before they can break it again to fix it.

In the end, police say the four then snatched his phone, wallet and headphones.

He was rushed to Brookdale hospital with a broken nose and back pain.
