NYPD: Man Robbed At Knifepoint Near Brooklyn Home Depot

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for three suspects who allegedly robbed a man at knifepoint in Brooklyn earlier this year.

According to police, two women and a man approached a 37-year-old man in front of a Home Depot location at 210 Bay 46th Street in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn at around 10:30 a.m. on May 29.

After the victim refused to hand over cash, the male suspect allegedly put the victim in a chokehold while the two female suspects took his wallet, passport and $300, police said.

The three suspects are believed to be in their 20s, police said. The male suspect is describes as 5'6" weighing around 170 pounds. The two female victims are describes as being around 5'5" tall and weighing around 140 pounds.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
