Knicks Rookie Cleanthony Early To Undergo Knee Surgery, Miss At Least A Month

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Knicks rookie forward Cleanthony Early will miss at least a month because of knee surgery.

The team said Tuesday that an MRI revealed loose fragments in his right knee, and he'll need an arthroscopic procedure this week. The 23-year-old will be reevaluated in a month to determine when he can return.

The second-round draft pick out of Wichita State was averaging 2.7 points in 7.7 minutes.

The Knicks are 3-8 and in fourth place in the Atlantic Division.
