Man Charged In Murder Of Woman Found In Kissena Park In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man has been charged with murder and robbery in the death of a woman whose body was found in Kissena Park in Queens back in October.

Christopher Sobers, 25, of Brooklyn, was charged in the Oct. 11 death of Qing Qing Kiemde, 28, of Queens.

Kiemde's body was discovered just before 3 p.m. Sunday inside Kissena Park at Colden Street and Laburnum Avenue in Flushing, police said.

She was found to have suffered slash wounds to her neck and abdomen, police said.
